Birth pains, eh? Verses 16-18 make me think.
I think we do this a lot. We go through all these "horrendous" pains or whatever, just to find that nothing was there. What we thought we were doing, was really not for what we thought we were all along. What we thought was "So amazing!" was really only just barely anything (or nothing at all).
We think all these "signs" point to something definite, when that's really quite untrue. We also think we're entitled to something after all that pain, too, right?
Sometimes perhaps we just forget that it's not all about us. That in fact the earth does not revolve around us. We often wish it did, though.
So sometimes, after a ton of hard work... we may end up with nothing. How do you feel about that? A bit disturbing, no? However, it's also not unexpected. We should know that there really isn't much of a guarantee that can be offered outside of Christ.
Heavenly Father, thank You for being so wonderful and amazing, Lord. Help us to glorify You, Daddy. Help me to accept what You have for me, be it small or large. Help me to use it well, and not abuse it. Help me to love others more and more, every single day. Help me to glorify You, Lord. I love You, and I need You. Thank You for everything, and help me to focus on You, especially when need be. We love You, Abba. Thank You for everything.
Amen.
Still not too much to say just yet...

Work work work. Stuff. More work. More stuff. Sleep. Eat. Eat more. Nap. Work.
That kind of feels like the last few days summed up. =P
Sooo... Halloween, right? Tonight I went to work and dressed up (kind of) like Mario (like Super Mario, Mario). It was fun. Only 2 kids came to the CoC for candy, and one of them was not for candy at first. =P It was an interesting night. Let's just say it was slow, but I still did about all the work.
Otherwise, life's okay. My Semlink stuff is at least sort of getting done. The online stuff is being whittled away bit by bit. Hopefully they don't get too "rawr get it done!" on me just yet.
Well... really, not too much else to say. Life's been pretty good. God is always good. ^_^ Guess that's about it for now!
